Pleasantries

Hi-lo, dear Readers. 

I'm Vincent, a 20 year old budding filmmaker and critic. This blog, Massive Consumption of Media for Your Enjoyment, is designed to be an outlet where I can post weekly writing pieces in which I review various types of media. Books, Movies, Music, TV--you name it; I consume it. Mostly because I have no life because I cut myself off from the world and live in a little bubble of isolation. But enough of my perpetual whining. What I want to do now is tell you how this shit's gonna work.

Each week, I'll post at least two reviews, sometimes three or four. These'll usually include a regular review, an opinion piece and a film analysis. A majority of the time, the reviews will be film reviews, as I like to take my time when reading a book and it's very rare that a piece of music compels me to write about it. I know you'll complain about that. I know you'll say "Why don't you just make this a film blog and leave the literature and music consumption to us?" To that I'll say this:
Couldn't you very well be reading a book or listening to music instead of reading this?

That's what I thou--wait. Where are you going?

C'mon, don't leave, hear me out at least.

Now, I hope my output will gradually increase as time goes on and as I start to create more for this. I have a few ideas for features I think'll be cool. But for now, I want to keep this simple as to motivate me to write more. The longer and more in-depth the piece, the longer it'll take me to write. So this'll just be a review blog plain and simple for now.
When the time comes and the cooler stuff is ready to be unveiled, I'll let you all know. But for now, happy reading!
